Connecting the Dots: Acupuncture, Qigong, and Immunity

Acupuncture and Qigong support immunity and healthy immune function. They complement each other, which means that doing one will help, and doing both will be even more effective. They work to help you stay healthy and balanced.  Acupuncture is an individualized treatment that starts with where you are each day. Not only does it directly bolster the immune system, but it also works with other systems that directly impact immunity. It helps clear the effects of stress out of the body, and supports a healthy nervous system. It also improves digestive health. Both stress and digestive issues are directly linked to immune function. Acupuncture is able to treat the body from a holistic perspective to help balance and support overall health.  Qigong is a practice of mindful movement based on the same principles as acupuncture. Classes are gentle and accessible. They support the wellbeing and function of your whole system, helping to clear stress, increase vitality, and calm the mind. Specific techniques especially support immune function. Qigong can help you stay healthy, fight infections, and prevent illness.  Combining Acupuncture and Qigong is a way to support immune function on a deep level. Acupuncture addresses specific imbalances within your system. Qigong supports your overall balance and health. Doing them both can really help shift your baseline immune health as they work together.  We can improve our immunity and ability to fight disease. Acupuncture and Qigong are two ways to noticeably support our immune function. They are each effective on their own, but do even better when acupuncture treatments are combined with a regular qigong practice.
