Are you a teenager or do you know a teen who is feeling burned out, anxious, unfocused and unmotivated? You are not alone.
Teen anxiety is epidemic, due to the unique circumstances and environmental stressors of the past few years. The good news is, more than ever, teens are open to asking for and getting support. Certified mindfulness instructor Ginger Sands is offering a three-week workshop on mindfulness and self-care specifically designed for teens in high school.
In this series, teens will learn tools for self-care and stress reduction. You’ll tap into your natural “superpowers” of attention using your five senses of hearing, smell, sight, sound and touch. We’ll take a look at modern cultural pressures that influence your health and well-being. You’ll gain skills and resources to help you maintain your mental health and well-being as you go about your life. Expect to have fun, get relaxed and connect with yourself and other people your age.

Advance registration required. Limited space for being in person available to vaccinated students only, on the 11th and 25th. All students will be virtual on the 18th.
