Dreaming of Spring: Mindfulness for Manifesting Wellbeing

February’s 2/2 Groundhog day marks the halfway point of winter. Though we are in Late Winter, we are now on the downhill run to spring. It overlaps with the Catholic tradition of Candlemas, and the Celtic tradition of St. Brigid’s Day.
For gardeners it’s a time to look at seed catalogs and fantasize about what your garden might look like this year. Dreams can be as wild and as limitless as our imagination. What seeds of intention do you want to plant in the coming year? How can mindful awareness help you to manifest ease and wellness in your life? Can we dream that this year we will discover new information, practices and connections that will transform our health and wellbeing? Yes we can!

March’s Theme: 

Planting Seeds of Kindness

Monday, March 20 is the first day of Spring. On this day, the day of the vernal equinox and night are equal in length. Let’s welcome this season of rebirth and renewal! As the sun stays longer and the days lean into warmth, let’s explore how we can plant seeds of mindfulness within ourselves. Practices of “Love and Kindness,” “Taking in the Good” and working with Tara Brach’s RAIN of Self-Compassion are just some of the ways we can nurture kindness to ourselves and others.

Class Description

Feeling overwhelmed? Interested in how mindfulness training can support your wellness goals? Curious about science-supported practices to help manage stress, nurture ease and well-being?

In these classes, we’ll explore how breath exercises, sensory activities and simple meditation practices can help you relax, connect, and tune into your body’s signals with kindness and curiosity. We’ll explore the basic brain science behind modern mindfulness applications, and build a personalized self-care tool kit to help nurture ease and well-being as we navigate a stressful modern world. Mindful Mondays is open to both those who are new to mindfulness and those who have a current mindfulness practice.
