What is Integrative Medicine?

The Integrative Medicine at Ha.Lé works with your existing doctors to provide a whole-bodied approach for your best health.

Integrative Medicine Health

Care Options created with You in mind.

Our evidence-based treatment plans treat the whole of you, mind & body.

1. Begin with a Conversation

You are the expert on how you’re feeling. We are here to listen and support your health journey.

2. Receive your Treatment Plan

Healthcare should be clear. We will map out a step by step, personalized plan for your optimized health.

3. Work with your Team

Health is a journey, not a day hike. Your team of providers collaborate on your best care. We help you feel better now and change your baseline health moving forward.

4. Feel the Difference in your Health

Whole person healthcare gets to the source of your symptoms. Coming back into balance creates health from the inside out.

“As an avid cyclist with chronic neck pain, I sought treatment and relief for many years before finding Ha.Lé. Janice and her team have provided that relief and information about preventing recurring pain at home (and on bicycle trips) for over 10 years. I highly recommend Ha.Lé to continue your active lifestyle with joy rather than pain. “

Frequently Asked Questions

Why can’t Ha.Lé Doctors be my PCP?

Ha.Lé Integrative Health is not an alternative to your Primary Care, it is a complement to it that supports best care outcomes. We will partner with your PCP and other doctors for your care as needed.

Why don’t you prescribe medicine?

We are a nonpharmacological practice, which means that no, we do not prescribe medications. We do, however, believe in the science behind medicine. Our integrative care works together with your prescribed medications and other treatments to support your best health.

Do you take insurance?

We accept Aetna for all Integrative Medicine Consults, and some additional appointments.

We also accept HSAs and FSAs for all treatments and can walk you through any needed eligibility requirements.

We recommend scheduling a free 15 min phone consult to answer your questions about insurance, HSA, and FSA payments.

What is the difference between Bodywork and massage?

Bodywork is a form of massage that goes well beyond basic relaxation. It uses a collection of manual techniques to restore health and balance, focusing on whole-body health and therapeutic goals.

Why not tip my provider?

We do not accept tips because we are a healthcare practice. The best compliment you can pay us is to come for care as often as you need it and to refer your friends and family to come for treatment.

What if I’m afraid of Acupuncture because of the needles?

Acupuncture needles are hair-thin and much smaller than other needles you may have encountered. They are sterile and safe, and sometimes you don’t feel them at all! Once your needles are in, you may feel some slight warmth or tingling, but not discomfort.
